Jump-start your writing with Charlie Varon

Sample Schedule

Week 1: First Meeting

Your deadline: You bring at least 1000 words to read or perform.

Goal setting: We discuss, and agree on, a goal for the 10 weeks.

Coaching: I give you general direction and coaching on the piece and we agree on a specific writing assignment for the next week.

Week 2: Writing / email coaching

Your deadline: Within a week of the meeting, you email me at least 1000 words of new or revised writing.

Coaching: I email your piece back to you, marked up with suggestions for revision and new writing.

Weeks 3-10

Same system of writing deadlines and coaching as in Weeks 1 & 2.

Meeting on Zoom or in person in Weeks 3, 5, 7 and 9

Working via email in Weeks 4, 6, 8, and 10. 
Week 5 meeting includes a Midpoint Check-In where we jointly assess where the project is, refine the goal, and agree on next steps.

Week 11: Bonus session

If you've made all 10 of your writing deadlines, you get an extra session, free.
