Special focus this class: WRITING CHARACTERS
CHARACTER: the foundation for memoir, fiction, and even much nonfiction.
I've been creating characters for the page and stage for 40 years and love sharing the journey of making characters come alive.
During the course of the 6-week workshop, you will...
- Email me one piece you've written (up to 1250 words)
- I'll email you suggestions for revision, and you do a rewrite (in 2 hours or less)
- In class you read it to the group, and then we discuss how to strengthen your work
Note that you can write in any genre you like, and there is no class performance.
Payment is on a sliding scale via PayPal or check:
Employed/doing okay financially: $250
Unemployed/underemployed/financially distressed: $100
Somewhere in between: $175
Enroll by Dec. 31, 2021 and take an extra $20 off.
